JOB DESCRIPTION:
The Department of Pediatrics is seeking to hire a Research Fellow to provide support research activities within the Pediatric CEIID Research Division in research associated with underlying mechanisms associated with Alzheimer's disease.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Assisting in simple laboratory procedures for the Pedi CEIID Research Division.
- Routine lab performance: cell culture, virus purification, virus infection, western blot, northern blot, real-time PCR.
- Sequencing data analysis and bridge the communication between service providers and PI
- Assist PI to submit manuscript and grant preparation.
- Providing basic experimental prep work.
- Providing laboratory maintenance.
- Aiding in clerical duties associated with the Pedi CEIID Research Division.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Masters of Science Degree in related field

Commensurate with experience.
