Essential Job Functions
The candidate's primary responsibilities will be to provide coverage in clinical microbiology by providing comprehensive oversight of the Clinical Microbiology Laboratory (CML) on campus; leading clinical research initiatives focused on diagnostic assay development; provide expert diagnostic consultation to physicians supporting accurate and timely clinical decision-making; as well as the teaching of residents, fellows, medical students, PAs and PA students at the Galveston, Clear Lake, League City and Angleton Danbury campuses.
Minimum Qualifications
MD, PhD or MD/PhD
Preferred Qualifications
Education/Experience in Biology and/or Microbiology.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
