What are the responsibilities and job description for the Professor Clinical Practice - Otolaryngology position at UTMB Faculty Group Practice?
Essential Job Functions
The person in this position is responsible for providing contributions to the department, resident teaching, and scientific endeavors by operating with the resident and one academic day working on papers, book chapter, research, and projects to the credit of UTMB. This position will also provide lectures on facial plastic and reconstructive topics and host a journal club and anatomic dissections with the residents. This position will also work with Dr. Maldonado Chapa as he builds his aesthetic practice.
Minimum Qualifications
Candidate should be a graduate of an accredited medical school, have completed an ACGME approved residency training program in otolaryngology, with training and interest in facial plastics and resonstructive surgery, be Certified/Board Eligible in Otolaryngology and be eligible for or have a Texas Medical License without restrictions.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
