- Pediatrics
- Lifespan Development and Occupation
- Movement Science
- Neurorehabilitation
- Experience with innovative instructional methods, curriculum development, and student mentorship is desirable.
- Responsibilities may include:
- Teaching and advising students in the entry-level OTD curriculum.
- Participating in curriculum development, assessment, and accreditation activities.
- Mentoring students in capstone and scholarly projects.
- Engaging in scholarly and professional activities consistent with faculty expectations.
- Serving on departmental, school, university, and professional committees.
- Participating in faculty practice opportunities as applicable.
- Doctor of Occupational Therapy (OTD) preferred; doctoral degrees in occupational therapy or related disciplines (e.g., PhD, DHSc, DrPH, DSc) will also be considered.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist, or eligible for licensure, in the State of Texas.
- Eligible for appointment at the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor based on qualifications and experience.
- Demonstrated commitment to excellence in teaching, mentorship, and service.
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and collaborative skills.
- Experience teaching in an ACOTE-accredited occupational therapy program.
- Experience with curriculum development, assessment, or accreditation processes.
- Expertise in pediatrics, lifespan development, movement science, neurorehabilitation, or related practice areas.
- Record of scholarship, professional engagement, and service to the profession.
