What are the responsibilities and job description for the Assistant Professor Clinical Practice, Internal Medicine-Gastroenterology position at UTMB Faculty Group Practice?
Essential Job Functions
The clinical duties of this position will include up to 3 weekly clinic sessions as well as up to 6 outpatient endoscopy sessions per week at either the Galveston or League City Campus. Additionally, this position will cover the Gastroenterology & Hepatology consult service at Galveston & Clear Lake/League city campuses for approximately 10 weeks per year and provide night call coverage for ~8 weeks annually.
Minimum Qualifications
MD degree or equivalent, Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology. Must have completed an ACGME-accredited internal medicine residency and Gastroenterology fellowship programs.
Salary
Commensurate with experience.
