Job Summary
Load, unload, and deliver supplies and materials to customers in an accurate and timely manner; efficiently and safely transport, sorts, and stocks materials.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Loads, transport, and delivers items to clients or businesses in a safe and timely manner.
- Performs simple vehicle maintenance; cleaning the interior of vehicle, checking lights, checking tires, and filling fluids.
- Observe all traffic laws and posted speed limits.
- Follows the Driver Safety Policy
- Deliver goods to clients.
- Interacts with the customer in a professional manner.
- Collects required signatures for payment, proof of delivery, and gives a receipt to customer.
- Returns all required documentation to appropriate company official.
- Observes no smoking in delivery vehicle.
- Maintains a neat, clean personal appearance.
- Support warehouse operations as needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- One to two years related experience or equivalent.
- Familiarity with delivery practices and handling methods.
- Must have a valid driver’s license, with a clear driving record
- Ability to work with minimal supervision.
