Duties
- Assist with the setup, maintenance, and cleanup of work areas to ensure a safe and organized environment
- Operate basic tools and equipment
- Install conduit, piping, or cable according to project specifications and safety standards.
- Monitor drill head location and bore path to ensure accuracy and avoid underground conflicts.
- Conduct potholing and expose existing utilities to prevent damage.
- Troubleshoot drilling issues such as stuck drill heads, ground conditions, or equipment problems.
- Support inventory management by stocking supplies and ensuring tools are properly stored
- Follow safety procedures diligently to prevent accidents and promote a secure workplace atmosphere
Requirements
- Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety standards
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team
- Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to changing operational needs
- Must be able to follow instructions carefully and adhere to all safety regulations
Physical Demands
- Must be able to perform physical tasks of the entire assigned work shift.
- Capable of working in adverse weather conditions, all temperatures, and climates.
- Able to stand, climb, balance, crawl, crouching, lifting, holding, or stooping.
- Must be able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds at times.
- Ability to work while wearing safety boots, safety glasses, hardhat and other safety equipment as needed.
Travel Requirement:
- Travel required to jobsites.
