Overview
We are looking for an experienced Licensed Service Electrician who takes pride in diagnosing difficult problems, delivering quality workmanship, and keeping critical commercial and industrial systems running safely. This is an opportunity to work hands-on with boiler plants, mechanical rooms, heating systems, combustions equipment, and related industrial systems. Some of your responsibilities will be: Install, maintain and troubleshoot motors and motor controls, VFD's, Control Panels, Pumps and Electrical Distribution Systems, Read and Interpret Electrical Schematics, wiring diagrams and control drawings, Perform preventative maintenance and emergency services, assist with Boiler and Burner Control installations and upgrades, complete service reports accurately and thoroughly and ensure all work complies with NEC requirements and company safety standards.
Duties
- Install, inspect, and repair electrical wiring, circuits, and equipment in utility plants, industrial facilities, and commercial sites.
- Troubleshoot electrical systems using diagnostic tools such as voltmeters, ohmmeters, and programmable logic controllers (PLCs).
- Ensure all work complies with NFPA 70 (National Fire Protection Association) standards, NEC (National Electrical Code), and local electrical codes.
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams to accurately execute wiring and installation tasks.
- Perform high-voltage electrical wiring and maintenance on industrial electrical systems while following strict safety procedures.
- Conduct routine inspections of electrical infrastructure to identify potential issues before they escalate into failures or hazards.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and construction experience to complete renovation projects or new installations efficiently.
- Adhere to electrical safety procedures during all phases of work to protect yourself and colleagues from hazards associated with electrical work.
- Collaborate with team members on troubleshooting complex electrical problems related to industrial or commercial systems.
- Support ongoing maintenance efforts by diagnosing faults quickly and implementing effective repair solutions in a timely manner.
Requirements
- Candidates must be at least 18 years old
- High School Diploma or GED & have a Valid Electrician License.
- A clean NC driving record & means to get to work every day.
- Candidates must pass Background check.
- Candidates must pass Drug test due to Federal contracts.
