Job Overview
Utility Pipeline Ltd. (Cardinal Natural Gas) is searching for a Natural Gas Distribution Field Technician who would operate throughout Harrison, Marion, Monongalia, and Preston counties. This technician would report daily to our Lumberport, WV office. Must live within 30 minutes of Lumberport in order to respond to emergencies. Experience in the Natural Gas distribution field, construction, or plumbing is a plus. This is a full time position with benefits. General Responsibilities
- Respond to various work orders
- Line locating
- Leak surveys, inspections, and compliance-related tasks
- Annual maintenance of pipelines and facilities
- Install and remove meters
- Meter reading and install ERTs
- Install pipelines, taps, and services
- Oversee and inspect sub-contractors on assigned projects
- Maintain company vehicle and equipment
- Complete necessary paperwork for daily tasks
- On-call rotation/emergency call outs
Job Qualifications
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent
- Experience: 1 years of related experience preferred
- Valid and clean driver's license
- Willing and able to pass a drug and alcohol test (pre-employment and random)
- Willing to complete required online training and pipeline safety training programs
