Utility Technician – Meter Installation
Location: Schenectady, NY
Pay: $25.00 per hour

What You’ll Do
* Safely install and upgrade primarily gas meters, with some electric meter work
* Accurately read and record meter data
* Follow all safety procedures and company policies
* Communicate professionally with customers
* Operate a company vehicle safely
* Manage assigned tools, equipment, and materials

What We’re Looking For
* Must meet company screening requirements, including background check, drug screen, and MVR, in accordance with applicable laws
* Ability to perform physical job duties, including lifting up to 40 lbs and walking extended distances
* Reliable transportation to and from work
* Strong attendance and dependability
* Ability to work independently while part of a team
* Comfortable using hand tools and mobile devices
* Willingness to work outdoors in varying weather conditions
