Position Summary
We are seeking a motivated and creative Marketing Intern to support the company’s marketing and sales initiatives. This position provides hands-on experience in business-to-business marketing, digital marketing, communications, and sales support. The Marketing Intern will work closely with the Marketing Specialist while collaborating with Independent Account Managers and other departments throughout the organization.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Copywriting/proofreading marketing materials and communications.
- Assisting with digital marketing analytics and reporting.
- Supporting Independent Account Managers by providing requested marketing collateral, both digital and printed.
- Assisting in the management of marketing inventory, promotional items, and printed materials.
- Managing company social media accounts, including LinkedIn, Facebook, and Instagram.
- Providing input and support in marketing strategy development and campaign planning.
- Assisting with event planning and promotional activities.
- Updating customer and sales records within Salesforce CRM.
- Participating in company meetings, events, and cross-departmental projects when applicable.
- Supporting special projects and other responsibilities as assigned.

Requirements
Candidates should possess:
- Current enrollment in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Marketing, Communications, Sales, Business, or a related field.
- Reliable transportation to and from the UMS office on designated office days.
- Interest in business-to-business marketing, communications, or sales.
