Role Description
This is a full-time role for a Journeyman Lineman located in Arkansas. Work will be out of one of the five First Electric Cooperative offices. The Journeyman Lineman will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical power systems and substation equipment. Daily tasks include working with heavy equipment, performing power distribution tasks, and ensuring compliance with safety regulations.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years expierence and completion of an apprenticeship from a reputable employer.
- CDL Class A license and ability to operate heavy equipment
- Knowledge and experience in substation maintenance and repairs
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent team collaboration and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and in various weather conditions
- Prior experience in utility construction
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical training in electrical systems preferred
