A Software Engineer is responsible for gathering user requirements, defining system functionality and writing code in various programming languages, like Java, JavaScript, Python, C , C or .NET. Ideal candidates are familiar with the software development life cycle (SDLC) from preliminary system analysis to tests and deployment. A software engineer is also required to verbally and in written form articulate ideas to members of their team and supervisors. Software engineers need to be able to work with limited supervision and know when to consult senior engineers and architects when faced with difficult technical issues.

The employee should be able to (consistently, occasionally, frequently, seldomly) and effectively communicate information and concepts for mutual understanding, including conveying precise details during these interactions. For accurate task execution, it is essential that the employee (consistently, occasionally, frequently, seldomly), maintains consistent specific vision abilities, especially the capability to discern close-up details within a few feet of the observer. (Consistently, seldomly, occasionally, frequently), this role entails the transportation of boxes weighing between a minimum of 5 pounds and a maximum of 30 pounds throughout the office to meet various demands.

- Participate in weekly sprints.
- Assist with developing and executing test procedures for software components.
- Provide ongoing maintenance, support, and enhancements in existing systems and platforms.
- Collect, analyze and document user requirements.
- Write or review software and system documentation.
- Provide documents for the application.
- Design, modify, develop, and support software applications.
- Limited school or work experience with programming languages like Java, JavaScript, C and Python.
- Experience with different OS platforms.
- Exposure to databases and SQL.
- Exposure in OOA/OOD/OOP;
- Experience with modern development tools.
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
- Familiarity with code repositories such as GIT and Subversion (SVN).
- Familiarity with the Agile (SCRUM) development methodology using continuous integration and delivery and Atlassian products.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor's degree in computer science or engineering.
