Utility Crane & Equipment, based in Tolleson with its sister company, Force TK, is a dealership that primarily builds and services aerial bucket trucks. Work setting: In-person
Hours: Typical schedule will be Tuesday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.. Overtime may be required. Schedule when on overtime will be Monday - Friday, 5:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m..
Job Description
- Install accessories, PTO and pump
- Install, diagnose and troubleshoot hydraulic plumbing
- Interface with chassis
- Build panels from start to finish (measure, drill, tap, layout)
- Wire, assemble, fit and mount sub-assemblies, components, and standard fixed assemblies in electrical components
- Conduct running, wire pulling, installing electric panels and cabinets
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, repair, and verify electrical wiring for vehicles, aerials, cranes and other units.
- Maintain a strong, personal commitment to the safety culture.
- Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager
Advancement
- Advancement from Apprentice to Journeyman to Expert, with move to Service or other areas, is possible based experience gained and productivity.

Qualifications
- Hold strong mechanic and electric competency
- Proficiently read wiring diagrams and work independently to complete assignments
- Experience reading drawings, blueprints, schematics and diagrams
- Wire from electrical drawings
- Knowledge of usage of power tools
- Must be a strong team player, highly motivated, and eager to learn
- Must be detail-oriented
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred; additional training or certifications a plus
- Safety shoes are required to work in this position. A shoe allowance is provided after hire for the employee to buy safety shoes.
Position includes stooping, bending, kneeling, sitting, standing, climbing into trailer, ladder usage, lifting up to 50 pounds, use of provided ear protection in a sometimes-noisy environment and safety glasses. Safety shoes are required to work in this position. A shoe allowance is provided for safety shoes. The work environment is indoors but open to the outdoor environment, with coolers and industrial ceiling fans stationed throughout the building.
This position requires a drug screen, background check and where needed meet the requirements to drive.
