About the Position
We are seeking a motivated and dependable CDL Class A Construction Laborer to join our one of our directional drilling crews. This position involves supporting underground utility installation projects, operating commercial vehicles, assisting with directional drilling operations, and performing general construction labor duties. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, hardworking, and willing to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.

Job Type: Full-time
Duties include but are not limited to:
- Operate and transport equipment and materials using CDL Class A vehicles.
- Assist directional drill operators and locator personnel during underground utility installations.
- Perform potholing, hand digging, trenching, and jobsite preparation.
- Load, unload, and secure equipment and materials.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Assist with equipment maintenance and daily jobsite tasks.
- Work as part of a team to complete projects efficiently and safely.
Qualifications
- Walk 6-12 hours per day
- Be able to lift & carry 50lbs
- Be able & willing to perform all physical tasks required throughout the work day
- Clean Insurable driving record
- Must be willing to work overtime and to travel (Per Diem is provided when traveling over 60 miles)
- Must be team oriented
Preferred Experience (Not Required, but Preferred)
- Directional drilling or underground utility construction.
- Fiber optic, telecommunications, gas, water, or electrical utility installation.
- Equipment operation (excavators, skid steers, vacuum excavation equipment, etc.).
- Traffic control and jobsite safety practices.
License:
- Class A CDL - Required
