Overview
Learn about business and accounting, provide basic accounting and bookkeeping support as directed
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Learn about all Utilitra and customer entities
- Learn about business accounting functions
- Assist with bank reconciliations
- Assist with accounts payable or receivable functions
- Create, edit, or update spreadsheets
- Provide administrative or clerical support
- Electronic filing, scanning, or indexing as requested
- Other duties as assigned
- Cross-train in all facets of the Division, preparing to fill in for anyone absent and grow in responsibility and scope over time.
The person in this role will uphold the culture of Utilitra, including relationship building with customers as well as general behavior on Utilitra or client premises or at Utilitra-sponsored events.
Requirements/Qualifications
- Accounting classes at the college level; working towards a degree in Finance, Accounting or Business
- Strong analytical skills; reasoning and problem-solving ability
- Strong organizational skills and ability to effectively deal with highly detailed work
- Proficiency in MS Word and Excel
- Knowledge of Vista by Viewpoint beneficial, but not expected
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Must be able to pass a criminal background check and drug screening.
