UTHealth Houston’s Neurology Department is hiring for a Seasonal Hire to join their team of professionals. The Seasonal Hire will help with follow-up questionnaires over the phone, data entry, and shadow patient appointments.
This position is funded by grants that comprise 50% or more of the funding. Continued employment in this position is contingent upon the availability of funding for this position. Your employment may end upon the cancellation or discontinuation of the project, program, or funding. This appointment is for less than four and one-half months.

POSITION SUMMARY: Under supervision, they will help with follow-up questionnaires in person and over the phone, data entry, and shadow patients’ appointments.
POSITION KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES:
1. Help with day-to-day research activities that may include calling patients to complete questionnaires and get outcomes from patients after hospitalization and scheduling appointments.
2. Data entry in the database
3. Organize paperwork
4. Shadow patients’ appointments and blood processing.
Minimum Education: None. Individuals must be at least 16 years of age. High School diploma or equivalent, preferred.
Minimum Experience: None. One year of experience with laboratory and/or scientific procedures, preferred
Residency Requirement: Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
