The Department of Neurology at McGovern Medical School at UTHealth Houston is seeking an outstanding faculty physician to join the Division of Dementia and Memory Disorders at the rank of Associate Professor or Professor, commensurate with academic accomplishments and experience. - Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited neurology residency.
- Completion of an ACGME-accredited fellowship in dementia, memory disorders, or cognitive neurology
- ABPN board certification or eligibility in Neurology
- Texas medical license or eligibility for Texas licensure.
- Excellent clinical skills, including comprehensive history-taking, neurological examination, and interpretation of diagnostic studies.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, trainees, and interdisciplinary team members.
- Demonstrated commitment to compassionate, patient-centered care.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented academic environment.
