Position Summary
The Guest Services Manager oversees daily guest services operations at The Stanford Inn, while coordinating spa scheduling and supporting group stays. This role ensures a seamless guest experience from inquiry through departure by managing communication, team alignment, and smooth day-to-day operations across departments.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee daily guest services, including inquiries, arrivals, departures, guest communication, and on-site needs.
- Ensure consistent, high-quality hospitality and step in to resolve guest concerns as needed.
- Supervise and support Guest Service Specialists through scheduling, daily direction, coaching, and training.
- Manage spa scheduling, therapist availability, guest bookings, and related internal communication.
- Prepare payroll inputs for guest services and spa staff, and provide coverage when necessary.
- Support group stays and retreats by coordinating logistics, guest flow, and communication with events staff.
- Partner with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure accommodations and shared spaces are guest-ready.
- Maintain operational checklists, daily priorities, and cross-department alignment.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Previous experience in guest services, hospitality, or front desk operations required.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Reliable, adaptable, and willing to step in where needed to support guests and team members.
- Proficiency with basic computer systems, email, and Microsoft software.
- Ability to stay organized, manage multiple priorities, and remain calm in a fast-paced environment.
