Shop Hand

Position Overview:
UOWS is seeking a reliable and hard-working Shop Hand to assist with daily operations in our shop. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with general maintenance and organization of the shop
• Help inspect, clean, and maintain equipment and tools
• Support mechanics and technicians with various tasks
• Load and unload parts or materials as needed
• Operate basic tools and equipment safely and effectively
• Perform other duties as assigned to ensure smooth shop operations

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Must be able to lift at least 30 lbs
• Current Utah Driver License with a clean driving record
• Working knowledge of heavy equipment and trucks
• Ability to follow instructions and prioritize tasks
• Dependable and safety-conscious

Preferred Skills (Not Required):

• Previous shop or mechanical experience
