Assignments effective August 15, 2025 - May 15, 2026 Two positions open to The University of Texas at Austin undergraduate students only Purpose The Technology Student Assistant supports strategic and tactical aspects of technology within OnRamps. They provide sustained contributions to ongoing initiatives, as well as just-in-time assistance with seasonal, unexpected, and urgent projects. Responsibilities Works alongside the OnRamps Instructional Design and Distance learning teams on technology related projects and provides support to OnRamps staff, instructors, and students. Provides assistance in course development and accessibility remediation projects to OnRamps course areas as needed. Performs data entry, management, and reporting in OnRamps learning management system, and other research and business management platforms. Maintains OnRamps technology documentation for the 2025-2026 academic school year. Performs various administrative tasks, including copying, filing, and transcription. Required Qualifications Current undergraduate or graduate student at The University of Texas at Austin. 1 year experience working in professional office environment. Basic computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint. Professional conduct and appearance Punctual, reliable, responsible. Contact information for at least one (1) professional or academic reference. Preferred Qualifications Academic interest in Education, Instructional Technology/Design, Business, Communications, Computer Science, or related field. Interest in and knowledge of local, state, and national dual enrollment and college-readiness initiatives/programs. Experience providing customer support Experience with MS Outlook, Canvas Learning Management System (LMS), Smartsheet, and/or Ticketing software.
