Job Posting Title: Instructional Support Specialist- Biology Instructional Office ---- Hiring Department: Biology Instruction Office ---- Position Open To: All Applicants ---- Weekly Scheduled Hours: 40 ---- FLSA Status: To Be Determined at Offer ---- Earliest Start Date: Ongoing ---- Position Duration: Expected to Continue ---- Location: UT MAIN CAMPUS ---- Job Details: The Biology Instructional Office in the College of Natural Sciences is developing a pool of candidates for part time and full time instructional support specialist positions for the upcoming academic year. The instructional support specialist will act as a teaching assistant for undergraduate biology courses. Positions are not available every semester. The instructional support specialist may be assigned to 1 undergraduate courses offered by the following departments in the College of Natural Sciences: Biology Instructional Office, Molecular Biology, Integrative Biology, and Neuroscience. Positions are offered by semester. Required application materials: Resume/CV 3 work references with their contact information; at least one reference should be from a supervisor Letter of interest ---- Employment Eligibility: Regular staff who have been employed in their current position for the last six continuous months are eligible for openings being recruited for through University-Wide or Open Recruiting, to include both promotional opportunities and lateral transfers.
