Journeyman Electrician

Job Description

Utah Yamas Controls is growing and we have immediate openings for experienced journeyman electricians.

Utah Yamas Controls has offices in 3 western states and we are seeking qualified individuals with experience installing, testing and maintaining electrical equipment including bending conduit, pulling wire and installing DDC control systems or electrical distribution systems in a commercial environment. This position requires a logical, detail-oriented person and the ability to interface and communicate with customers and co-workers clearly and effectively.

Job Requirements

• Experience with new, commercial construction, preferably in a journeyman electrician role.
• Must be physically fit and able to perform duties that includes installing conduit, wiring and control devices. This position requires activities on ladders and lifts using power and hand tools.
• The work can take place on new construction sites or existing occupied facilities and may include carrying and moving parts and equipment.
• Understanding of building plans and specifications
• Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
• Ability to fulfill work accurately and thoroughly
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize
• Ability to finish work, follow-through, and report on responsibilities
