What are the responsibilities and job description for the Billing Specialist position at Utah Surgical?
We are looking for a Full-Time Billing Representative for our highly skilled General Surgeons office in St. George, Utah. This position may transition to a remote role once you have completed training and are fully proficient in the position.
Job Duties (include but are not limited to):
-Answer and return calls to patients and insurance companies
-Promptly and professionally assist patients
-Claims resolution
-A/R management
-Prior authorizations
-Collections
-Payment posting and daily payment reconciliation
Prerequisites:
-Phone and in-person etiquette
-Well organized individual
-Ability to make proactive autonomous decisions
-Ability to adapt, multi-task and support co-workers to ensure a cohesive environment
Preferences (preferred but not required):
-Bilingual (English and Spanish)
-Experience utilizing various software (ex: Excel, Word, Electronic Medical Records, etc)
Hours: 40 hours per week.
Monday - Friday: 8:30AM - 5:00PM
