Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant, based in Salt Lake City, UT. The Physician Assistant will work closely with orthopedic surgeons to assess, diagnose, and treat patients with musculoskeletal conditions. Responsibilities include conducting patient evaluations, assisting in surgeries, prescribing medications, and providing patient education. Collaboration within a multidisciplinary team to ensure the highest standard of patient care is a key aspect of this role.
Qualifications
- Experience in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning in healthcare settings
- Proficiency in performing diagnostic and therapeutic procedures such as injections, suturing, and imaging
- Ability to assist in surgeries and familiarity with operating room protocols
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of Utah and certification by the NCCPA
- Prior experience in orthopedics or a related specialty is highly desirable
