Spend your winter on the longest tubing hill in Utah. The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation is hiring Seasonal Tubing Attendants at Soldier Hollow Nordic Center in Midway, UT. This is the venue where biathlon was held at the Salt Lake 2002 Winter Olympic Games. Schedule, Pay & Perks
- Season: Mid-December through mid-March
- Schedule: The tubing hill is open daily, and the shift schedule can vary by day depending on events.
- Typical weekday shift runs from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m.
- Typical Weekend is two shifts 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 3:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
- Availability: You’ll need to be available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Pay: $17 per hour
- Perks: Unlimited winter tubing for you, plus 6 free tubing vouchers for friends and family (vouchers can’t be transferred or sold)
- Perks at our other venues: 6 vouchers for the Winter Bobsled Experience at Utah Olympic Park, plus free public skating and skate rentals at the Utah Olympic Oval

Why This Role
The Utah Olympic Legacy Foundation’s mission is to cultivate champions in sport and in life, and every tubing ticket helps keep world-class facilities open for the athletes who train here. Our tubing team takes training and supervision seriously. You’ll learn the hill, the safety procedures, and how to take care of guests before you’re on your own. Job Requirements
Must-haves:
- At least 16 years old
- Able to give clear instructions and safety rules to kids, adults, and families, one-on-one or in groups
- Comfortable working outdoors in snow and cold for long shifts, and staying active throughout the day
- Available days, evenings, weekends, and holidays during the season
Nice-to-haves:
- Customer service experience, especially handling guest questions or problems
- Attention to detail, particularly when it comes to safety
A Day in the Life
You’ll start each shift helping the team get the hill ready. Once the gates open, you’ll rotate between checking tickets and handing out tubes at the bottom, watching the conveyor lift, and giving quick safety briefings before sending guests down their lanes. Throughout the day, guests come to you for answers, safety reminders, and the confidence to try their first run. Every guest who leaves happy helps share this Olympic venue with the public and supports the athletes who train here.
