Duties
- Perform comprehensive diagnostics using advanced automotive diagnostic tools to identify issues accurately across various vehicle systems.
- Repair and maintain powertrain components, including engines, transmissions, and drivetrain systems, ensuring optimal performance.
- Conduct vehicle suspension system repairs to enhance ride quality and safety.
- Interpret automotive wiring diagrams and schematics to troubleshoot electrical and electronic systems effectively.
- Service vehicle electrical systems, including ADAS (Advanced Driver Assistance Systems), sensors, and wiring harnesses.
- Execute diesel European engine repairs and general automotive repairs with precision, adhering to manufacturer specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, welding equipment, and other maintenance tools efficiently to complete repairs swiftly and safely.
Requirements
- A strong background in automotive repair, the right candidate will have European repair aptitude and interest.
- Knowledge of schematics, automotive wiring diagrams, and vehicle systems such as powertrain, transmissions, suspension, and electrical components.
- Familiarity with automotive diagnostic tools and techniques for troubleshooting complex issues across various Eurpean vehicle makes preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on experience with vehicle maintenance, system repairs, and component replacements.
- Ability to interpret technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams accurately.
- Good written and spoken communication skills with the ability to communicate technical information both to Service Advisors, and less commonly to clients.
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently with hand tools, power tools, and specialized equipment in a fast-paced environment.
