We’re one of Utah’s fastest-growing hospice providers, and we need a Hospice Quality Assurance Registered Nurse to ensure every end-of-life journey meets the highest standards of dignity, compliance, and compassion. What You’ll Do
- Perfect every OASIS & Plan of Care before Medicare submission—your accuracy safeguards reimbursement and, more importantly, uninterrupted hospice services.
- Master ICD-10 coding for terminal diagnoses, following CMS hospice guidelines to the letter.
- Elevate Hospice Excellence: Craft dynamic training programs that empower RNs, physicians, and aides to master symptom relief, provide profound emotional support, and guide families with compassion and expertise.
- Audit hospice records for regulatory compliance, visit utilization, and Conditions of Participation—then mentor case managers to close every gap.
- Guide Hospice Incident Reviews with Compassionate Precision: Ensure thorough documentation, assess risks to patient comfort, and drive swift, respectful follow-up that honors every patient’s sacred final journey.
What You Bring
- Active Utah RN license
- Associate’s degree or higher
- 1 year of Hospice experience
- Deep knowledge of hospice ADRs, TPE, Medicare CoPs, and Utah licensure
- BLS/CPR certification valid Utah driver’s license & auto insurance
- EMR fluency (Homecare Homebase = huge plus but not necessary)
- Detail-obsessed self-starter who thrives unsupervised
