We are hiring an Early Head Start Teacher in our Head Start classroom. These teachers will work with children from birth to 3 years of age. This position is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week, year-round commitment. The typical work schedule is 7:45 a.m.- 4:15 p.m.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Early Head Start Teacher works collaboratively as a member of a classroom team to deliver high-quality services to all children and families, and is responsible for the safety, supervision, and activities of children from birth to 3 years of age assigned to their care in the program.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Associate Degree in Early Childhood Education with a focus on infant and toddler development, or Child Development Associate credential
- 1 year of related experience
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or Human Development with a focus on infant and toddler development
- Previous Early Head Start experience or experience working with infants/toddlers, teen mothers, and homeless families
- Bilingual in languages spoken by families served by UCA
