HVAC Service Technician

Position Summary
We are looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician to diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems. The ideal candidate is dependable, customer-focused, and takes pride in providing honest recommendations and quality workmanship.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair residential furnaces, air conditioners, heat pumps, and mini-split systems.
- Perform preventative maintenance and system tune-ups.
- Troubleshoot electrical, refrigerant, airflow, and combustion issues.
- Explain repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners.
- Complete service documentation accurately using mobile software.
- Follow EPA, manufacturer, and company safety standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked service vehicle.
- Participate in an on-call rotation (if applicable).
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years of residential HVAC service experience.
- EPA Universal Certification required.
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience with refrigerant charging, airflow, electrical diagnostics, and combustion analysis.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift 75 pounds and work in attics, crawl spaces, and varying weather conditions.
Preferred Qualifications
- NATE Certification (preferred but not required).
- Experience with Rheem, Mitsubishi, and other major HVAC brands.
- Knowledge of heat pumps, dual-fuel systems, and mini-splits.
- Familiarity with digital gauges, vacuum pumps, combustion analyzers, and modern diagnostic tools.
