The Department of History and Geography in the College of Liberal Arts at The University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a tenured position at the rank of Associate or Full Professor in Texas history, with broader expertise in the history of the Greater Southwest. The successful candidate will also serve as Director of UTA’s Center for Greater Southwestern Studies, fostering interdisciplinary research, public-facing scholarship, and engagement with the rich historical resources of the University and the Dallas-Fort Worth region.In accordance with USCIS regulations, successful applicants must be legally able to accept work in the United States.
