Professor of Practice

The Department of Industrial, Manufacturing, and Systems Engineering (IMSE) at the University of Texas at Arlington invites applications for a Professor of Practice position. The ideal candidate will possess significant professional experience in industrial and systems engineering or related fields and a passion for working in a collaborative environment. This non-tenure track position focuses on creating research opportunities for the IMSE department by engaging with external leaders in industry, government, and academia with purpose of facilitating business development connections for faculty in the department. The primary job objective is to increase a profitable review stream for the IMSE department through a successful association of department capabilities and industry and government demand or developed opportunities.
