The Department of Anesthesiology and Pain Management at UT Southwestern Medical Center is seeking a highly motivated Board-Certified (or Board-Eligible) Academic Pediatric Anesthesiologist to join our growing program at Children’s Medical Center Dallas. This position offers a unique opportunity to provide a wide variety of anesthesia care while contributing to the department’s academic, research, and teaching missions.
Position Highlights
- Provide comprehensive anesthesia services for pediatric patients across a wide range of surgical specialties and procedural settings.
- Deliver high-quality perioperative care and ensure patient safety throughout the surgical continuum at Children’s Medical Center Dallas.
- Supervise and teach residents, fellows, and medical students in both clinical and didactic settings.
- Participate in departmental academic activities, including research, quality improvement, and scholarly projects.
- Engage in collaborative, multidisciplinary clinical care across the institution.

- MD, DO, or equivalent degree.
- Board certification or board eligibility in Anesthesiology (ABA or equivalent).
- Board certification or board eligibility in Pediatric Anesthesiology.
- Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Texas.
- Demonstrated interest in education, scholarship, and academic contributions.
- Commitment to excellence in patient care, teamwork, and professional development.
