Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Registered Nurse located in Knoxville, TN. The Registered Nurse will provide direct patient care in alignment with care plans and hospital protocols, monitor patients’ conditions, and administer medications and treatments effectively. Responsibilities include collaborating with other healthcare professionals, educating patients and families about ongoing care, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory guidelines. The role emphasizes empathy, precision, and efficiency while working in a collaborative team setting.
Qualifications
- Proficiency in patient assessment, care planning, and clinical documentation
- Skills in administering medications, treatments, and monitoring patient responses
- Effective communication and collaboration with interdisciplinary teams
- Experience in using medical technology, equipment, and electronic health records (EHR)
- Attention to patient education and counseling with compassion and clarity
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in Tennessee or compact state eligibility
- Advanced certifications such as ACLS, BLS, or PALS are advantageous
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is preferred but not required
- Ability to work flexible shifts as needed and manage time effectively in a fast-paced setting
