Required: Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Construction Management, Construction Sciences or other construction-related field.
Preferred: Working knowledge of International Building Code, Texas Accessibility Standards and Life Safety.

Required: 3 years Project management/construction management experience or 10 years Experience in the related construction trade to include one year of supervisory experience. May substitute required education degree with additional years of equivalent experience on a one to one basis.
Preferred: Experience performing architectural inspections for commercial construction.

Ensure Compliance With Plans, Codes, and Specifications
- Review construction drawings, architectural plans, and engineering specifications
- Verify contractor compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and local ordinances
- Identify deviations from approved plans and require corrective action
- Perform daily or scheduled construction site walkthroughs
- Inspect workmanship, materials, and installations for quality and compliance
- Document construction progress and identify deficiencies or risks
- Track construction progress against approved schedules
- Report delays or risks that may impact project completion
- Prepare inspection reports with photos, notes, and recommendations
- Maintain records of inspections, approved changes, and contractor communications
- Assist in preparing and verifying punch lists
- Monitor site safety conditions and support compliance with OSHA standards
- Identify hazards and notify contractors or facility management
- Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and internal facilities teams
- Review and verify materials and submittals against approved specifications
- Validate work during foundations, framing, rough-ins, fire protection, finishes, commissioning, and close-out
- Verify completion of punch list items
- Inspect final installations including HVAC, fire alarms, lighting, and equipment
- Support occupancy readiness and sign-off procedures
- Verify contractor performance and contract compliance to protect facility investments
