The Department of Surgery, Division of Pediatric Surgery, Joe R. and Teresa Lozano Long School of Medicine, at UT Health San Antonio is seeking an academic faculty member at the Assistant Professor or Associate Professor level to join the clinical service with expertise in caring for and management of problems or conditions requiring surgical intervention in neonates, infants, children, adolescents, and young adults. This service provides compassionate preoperative guidance, achieves surgical excellence, and focuses on helping our patients achieve postoperative success. Qualified individuals will have completed an approved residency and a Pediatric Surgery fellowship. Individual must be board certified / eligible.
The practice provides mid-level support and has access to dedicated pediatric operating rooms. Faculty participate in medical student and resident education and training.
