Under general supervision, responsible for launching and managing a campus food pantry program. Reports to and assists Program Manager with Office of Student Life programs, projects, and initiatives. Supports all co-curricular activities offered by the Office of Student life. This position offers a hybrid work schedule of 80% on campus and remaining work (20%) is completed remotely.

Three (3) years related experience is required.

Responsibilities
- Responsible for launching and managing the daily operations of a campus-wide food pantry.
- This includes collaborating with the San Antonio Food Bank, managing the creation and distribution of food kits, recruiting and managing volunteer workforce, maintaining the health and safety of the food pantry space and all food pantry offerings, collaborating with UT San Antonio campus partners and partners/ food pantry staff at the UT San Antonio academic campus, collecting and analyzing food pantry usage data and feedback for continuous improvement, reporting findings to university leadership, and additional duties.
- Reports to and assists Program Manager with Office of Student Life programs, projects, and initiatives.
- Creates, manages, and/or assists with co-curricular activities for students at our main campus and external locations –Greehey Campus, Center for Oral Health & Research, Wonderland Mall, and Laredo Campus.
- Assists with maintaining Office of Student Life website content and departmental social media content and engagement.
- Works as a team member with other Student Life staff. Serves on university committees as appropriate.
- Represents the university through professional organizations and events as appropriate.
- Provides high level administrative support to the Office of Student Life.
- Collaborates and serves as a liaison to other university offices for programming efforts.
- Performs all other duties as assigned.
- Ability to effectively multi-task and manage responsibilities simultaneously.
- Ability to launch and manage daily operations of a food pantry program.
- Ability to create, manage, and promote campus-wide co-curricular activities and programs.
- High proficiency in social media campaigns and engagement.
- Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to serve as a resource to faculty, staff and students.
- Ability to work in a dynamic, interdisciplinary environment and capable of self-direction with indirect oversight supervision.
- Bachelor's Degree in Education or related field is required.
- Master's Degree in Education or related field is preferred.
- Three (3) years related experience is required.
