Get to Know Your Team:
- UT Health Jacksonville features 33 operational beds, an ICU, a 24-hour ED designated as a Level IV trauma center and acute stroke ready facility, a maternity unit, advanced diagnostic technology, surgical suites, cardiopulmonary rehabilitation, a wound healing center, and a UT Health East Texas Olympic Center fitness and rehabilitation facility.
Responsibilities
- Performs CT studies/ procedures for patients of all ages (neonatal, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric)utilizing ionizing radiation and treatment of disease.
- Functions under the general supervision of the CTsupervisor and in cooperation with the radiologists.
- This position is subject to overtime and call back asrequired by the hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Associate degree in Radiography from an accredited college.
- Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 2 years as a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist.
- CT experience.
