- UT Health Tyler, the flagship hospital of the system, has 432 licensed beds specializing in advanced acute care medicine. Our hospital includes a 24-hour ER with Level 1 trauma center, a comprehensive stroke center, more than 500 physicians and a full complement of subspecialty groups.
Responsibilities
Prepare patients for radiology procedures and aids technologist in various aspects to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of disease. Subject to overtime and call back as required by hospital.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Enrolled in an AMA approved Radiology program.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
- Completion of 1st year of radiologic technology program.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- Knowledge and ability to operate all radiology/imaging equipment.
