- UT Health East Texas has extended its healthcare services to include urgent care facilities. These locations have highly skilled and compassionate healthcare professionals dedicated to providing exceptional care for various non-life-threatening conditions.
Responsibilities
Performs radiology procedures by utilizing ionizing radiation and/or other imaging modalities within NCT scope to aid in the diagnoses and treatment of injury/disease, along with assisting medical staff as a Certified Medical Assistant. Subject to overtime and call back as needed.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Completion of accredited CCMA Program
- Completion of accredited NCT Radiology Program
- Medication administration. I.V. Therapy or current Medical Assistant Certification.
- Must have active CCMA certification
- Must be licensed by the State of Texas (TMB) as a non-certified technologist (NCT)
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- 6 months’ medical clinic experience preferred
