Responsibilities
- The pharmacy technician I, under the supervision of a pharmacist, will assist in the technical, non-clinical aspects of preparing medications for dispensing and assist in pharmacy operations.
- Has the ability to participate as a member of a team with reliability and punctuality.
- Does related work, as required.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
High School graduate or GED.
Active Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing with the Board of Pharmacy, if required by the state of employment.
Preferred Job Requirements:
1 year of previous hospital pharmacy technician experience.
National Certification (CPhT) (may be required by the state of employment).
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
