Get to Know Your Team:
Responsibilities
- The Cardiovascular Radiology Technologist assists the Cardiologist with radiology procedures performed in the Cardiac Cath Lab.
- This includes both Cardiovascular studies/interventions as well as Special Procedure studies/interventions.
- The patient population contains adults, and geriatric patients. Ionizing Radiation is utilized to perform these studies as well as other imaging modalities.
- On-Call is required, and the employee must be able to respond and arrive in the Cath Lab within 30 minutes.
Qualifications
Job Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Graduate of an American Medical association approved radiology program.
- Must be ARRT registered.
- Must be licensed by the State of Texas.
- BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements:
- One year special procedures or cardiac catheterization laboratory experience.
