The Role

To manage and oversee the NTC Tennis Programs office operation while providing outstanding service to the tennis-playing community.

Schedule

Sunday: 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM

Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with the ITC Leadership Team to create the annual mapping of Tennis Programs offered seasonally at the NTC and lead the Programs Team in building out all program offerings.
  • Produce and manage the tennis program calendar and ensure program registrations are live at least two months in advance of commencement. Update the NTC website for each enrollment period and ensure all related information (ie., pricing, dates, etc.) is accurate.
  • Manage programs office team by (i) creating weekly work schedules, (ii) coordinating payroll time and record-keeping, (iii) establishing annual performance goals/evaluations, (iv) delivering training for all staff, and (v) onboarding new employees.
  • Collaborate with Sr. Business Manager on the organization and sale of tennis programs, court time rentals, tournaments, PACES, and events.
  • Manage USTA-assigned software platform integration, including USTA Flex and Serve Tennis.
  • Collaborate with the NTC Tennis Programs Director of Tennis Operations (or assigned staff) in Junior Team Tennis production.
  • Responsible for overseeing the maintenance and upkeep of the tennis program software system (currently Court Reserve) and collaborating with the Director of Tennis Operations (or assigned staff) on all Pro Staff scheduling. Ensure that staff scheduling adheres to USTA payroll policies regarding weekly hours.
  • Manage comprehensive programming and revenue dashboards for performance analysis of all tennis programs, including generation of key reports related to program optimization.
  • Develop and oversee the NTC’s tennis promotional strategy including creation of flyers, social media, website postings, email communications, etc.
  • Manage NTC Tennis Programs social media platforms as assigned.
  • Work with the Sr. Business Manager to ensure that all customer inquiries are addressed timely (ie. programs, student class assignments, school bookings, events, and tournaments).
  • Work closely with the ITC Manager of Operations to create a cross-functional team, blending the front desk and programs staff to create an optimal customer service experience.
  • Assist with USTA NTC tournaments as assigned.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are

  • Knowledge and understanding of the game of tennis.
  • Excellent customer service and organizational skills required.
  • Experience leading and motivating teams of at least two individuals.
  • Strong computer skills (MS, Excel, and Google Workspace).
  • Tennis industry programming experience, recreational activities coordination, or a Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing is a plus
  • Strong reconciliation skills and ability to resolve issues in real time.

The expected range for the annual base salary for this position is $65,000-70,000. This position is exempt and eligible for an Incentive Compensation Plan (ICP) bonus up to 5%. Any additional pay or benefits a person may qualify for are not included in this range. The actual base salary offered is determined by several variables, including, as appropriate, the applicant's qualifications for the position, the years of relevant experience, their unique skills, and the location from which they will be performing the job.
