UST is searching for a skilled software developer in our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and services. You will use Python, MySQL, AWS services and more.

Role Location: Oregon
Compensation Range: $68,000-$102,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST is searching for a skilled software developer in our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality web applications and services. You will use Python, MySQL, AWS services and more.
The Opportunity
- Develop and maintain robust and scalable cloud applications and services using Python, Golang and Clojure
- Develop and consume RESTful APIs for seamless integration with other systems.
- Write clean, well-documented, and testable code, adhering to coding standards and best practices.
- Perform regular updates to libraries
- Maintain Infrastructure as code definitions
- Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and knowledge sharing.
- Collaborate with customer team, including product managers, designers, and QA engineers, to define and achieve project goals.
- Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues, ensuring the stability and performance of applications.
What You Need
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field.
- 9 years of experience in software development
- Excellent programming skills and proven experience with Python.
- Familiarity with Golang
- Familiarity with Clojure
- Experience in AWS cloud services – SQS, S3, EC2, ECR, Elastic Beanstalk, Route 53 Function App Services and Plans, SQL Databases (IaaS & PaaS), Storage Accounts, Key Vaults
- Understanding of Azure cloud services - Scale Sets, Integrated Networking of Services, API Management, Azure Active Directory, Policy, SSL Certs and DNS
- Experience using Docker/Kubernetes and Jenkins
- Familiarity with development and deployment practices/ tools - Unit test, Integration, GitHub, CI/CD
