You Are
UST is searching for a Mobile Device Test Engineer who will develop, document, and revise test plans and procedures for Android and iOS devices, including regression, functional, and ad-hoc testing.
The Opportunity

Role Location: Pennsylvania
Compensation Range: $59,000-$89,000
Benefits
Full-time, regular employees accrue a minimum of 10 days of paid vacation per year, receive 6 days of paid sick leave each year (pro-rated for new hires throughout the year), 10 paid holidays, and are eligible for paid bereavement leave and jury duty. They are eligible to participate in the Company’s 401(k) Retirement Plan with employer matching. They and their dependents residing in the US are eligible for medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as the following Company-paid Employee Only benefits: basic life insurance, accidental death and disability insurance, and short- and long-term disability benefits. Regular employees may purchase additional voluntary short-term disability benefits, and participate in a Health Savings Account (HSA) as well as a Flexible Spending Account (FSA) for healthcare, dependent child care, and/or commuting expenses as allowable under IRS guidelines. Benefits offerings vary in Puerto Rico.

You Are
UST is searching for a Mobile Device Test Engineer who will develop, document, and revise test plans and procedures for Android and iOS devices, including regression, functional, and ad-hoc testing.
The Opportunity
- OEM Validation: Validate test results provided by OEMs and test partners by executing independent test cases and regression plans.
- Sample and Inventory Management: Manage test sample requirements, distribution, activation/deactivation, software flashing/upgrades, and inventory tracking.
- Bug Tracking and Resolution: Monitor customer-reported issues, perform root cause analysis, and manage the bug reporting and resolution process using tools like JIRA and Confluence.
- Software Update Certification: Test and certify maintenance releases (MRs) and security updates by executing relevant test cases and regression plans.
- Field Testing and Troubleshooting: Conduct field testing as needed to reproduce issues and collect diagnostic logs for analysis.
What You Need
- Mandatory skills: Mobile device testing – Android & iOS, Mobile hardware knowledge, JIRA, Confluence
- Education Level - Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent
- Field of Study - Computer Science, Electronics and Telecommunications, Engineering or other related fields.
- Years of experience: 1 to 3 Years
