Responsibilities:
- As a Senior Java Engineer, you will Designing and implementing Java-based applications.
- Analyzing user requirements to inform application design.
- Defining application objectives and functionality.
- Aligning application design with business goals.
- Developing and testing software.
- Debugging and resolving technical problems that arise.
- Producing detailed design documentation.
- Recommending changes to existing Java infrastructure.
- Developing multimedia applications.
- Developing documentation to assist users.
- Ensuring continuous professional self-development Experience and Skill Level
- 12 years of hands-on experience with Java, Spring Boot, C
- 6 years of hands-on experience with Kafka
- Good exposure to microservices architecture, cloud technologies
- Experience in designing and building scalable, distributed applications
- Experience in product development would be a plus
- Experience in eCommerce projects
- Capable of delivering on multiple competing priorities with little supervision.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent experience.
- The most successful candidates will also have experience in the following: Gitflow, Kubernetes, docker Atlassian products – BitBucket, JIRA, Confluence etc. Continuous Integration tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, or TFS.
