We're hiring an experienced Sponsorship & Advertising Sales Representative to own lead generation, outreach, and closing of local and regional businesses
Location: Primarily Remote (DFW area) with occasional local travel for client meetings as needed

About Us
We are a new, high-energy sports gym in Lewisville, Texas (opened August 2025) with 8,900 sq ft of space and 22-ft ceilings—plenty of room for large wall banners and branding. We serve 2,500 active members (average age 25–35, evenly split Black, White, and Asian) who drive an average of 30 minutes (some up to an hour) to train with us. Foot traffic averages 60 visitors daily.
Our marketing reach includes:
- 10,000 social media followers (daily posts)
- Weekly email blasts to our list of over 3,200 subscribers (60% open rate, 2.5% click rate)
- Website with ~500 weekly visits
- Mobile app with 2,600 users and a dedicated “Perks” section for sponsor links
We also offer logo placement on team uniforms, staff shirts, and in-gym activations. We’re profitable and opening new locations soon—creating major cross-promotion opportunities for sponsors.
The Role
We’re hiring an experienced Sponsorship & Advertising Sales Representative to own lead generation, outreach, and closing of local and regional businesses that want to reach our active, 25–35-year-old demographic. You will sell banner ads, email/social features, app perks, uniform/logo placements, dedicated posts, and custom activations.
This is a high-autonomy role ideal for a self-starter who loves cold calling, building relationships, and closing deals in a growing sports/fitness environment. Sports-industry experience is a big plus. Most work can be done remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Prospect aggressively: Research and build a pipeline of 20–30 new leads per week from local businesses (nutrition/supplements, apparel, health services, restaurants, auto, finance, etc.) that target similar demographics.
- Cold outreach: Make 40–60 cold calls/emails LinkedIn messages daily; follow up relentlessly.
- Pitch & propose: Create customized sponsorship packages highlighting our assets (banners, emails, social, app, uniforms, foot traffic, website, new locations).
- Close deals: Conduct discovery calls, virtual or in-person meetings, presentations, and negotiations.
- Manage accounts: Onboard sponsors, ensure deliverables are fulfilled, and secure renewals/expansions.
- Track & report: Maintain accurate pipeline using simple shared tools (Google Sheets) and provide weekly updates on leads, meetings, proposals, and closed revenue.
- Collaborate: Work with the owner on pricing, inventory, and activations; support the marketing team with sponsor content.
Requirements
- 2–4 years of B2B sales experience (advertising, sponsorship, media, or partnership sales preferred).
- Proven track record of cold calling, lead generation, and closing deals.
- Comfortable with high-volume outreach and rejection.
- Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills.
- Self-motivated, organized, and results-driven.
- Bonus: Experience in sports, fitness, or events; familiarity with DFW market.
- Reliable transportation for occasional client meetings in the DFW area.

Compensation (W-2 Employee)
- Weeks 1–4 (Paid Ramp Period): $500 per week guaranteed 18% commission on all new sponsorship revenue closed from day 1 (paid monthly once collected).
- After Week 4 (based on performance): Transition to 20% commission only (no base).
- Strong performers can realistically earn $65,000–$90,000 in their first full year as we scale with new locations.
We use clear weekly activity goals and revenue targets. This structure rewards results and allows the right person to build a substantial income quickly.
