Mail Handler Assistant

Job Summary

Duties

• Load and unload mail and packages using forklifts (On the Job Forklift training/liscensing) and manual handling techniques, ensuring safety protocols are followed at all times
• Operate SV scanners to accurately track shipments, update inventory records, and facilitate shipping & receiving processes
• Sort, file, and organize mail items efficiently within the warehouse or distribution center
• Use automatic inserting machines for preparing bulk mailings or packages for shipment
• Assist with warehouse distribution tasks, including shipping, receiving, and inventory management
• Maintain organizational standards by keeping work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with safety regulations
