What are the responsibilities and job description for the Production Configuration Management Analyst position at USPRO?
Job Description & Responsibilities:
- As a Production Configuration Management Analyst, will lead role for processing Manufacturing Change Notices (MCN’s) and provide direction for implementation plan
- Review and analyze Technical Drawing Package (TDP) along with change documents and compare to current Manufacturing Bill Of Materials (MBOM)
- Identify impact to MBOM configuration, routings, assembly setup, effectivity, material flow to the assembly floor and Work Instructions.
- Work with other manufacturing functions to gather information related to current configuration of the (MBOM).
- Arrange and conduct natural work team meetings to determine plan to implement changes and follow on task.
- Provide technical input and guidance for problem solving.
Required Qualifications:
- U.S. Citizenship is required due to DOD Project ITAR regulations
- 4-Year Technical Degree or Equivalent Experience
- Experience with reading Technical Drawing Package (TDP) for multiple programs
- Experience with Enterprise Product Data Management System (EPDM)
- Experience using OBIEE (Oracle Business Intelligence Enterprise Edition) to export file used to highlight changes to MBOM
- Knowledge/Experience with Oracle, OBIEE knowledge/experience is preferred
- Proficiency with Excel systems required.
- Have an understanding of processes to build and make products such as sub-assembly, installation, machining, welding, paint, marking, etc.
- Have an understanding of how to process non-conforming parts for re-work or upgrade by an outside service provider
- Must be able to communicate both verbally and written.
