Welcome to Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center
Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center was formed by a group of local surgeons to offer easily accessible outpatient care to Clearwater and the surrounding communities.
The goal of any outpatient surgical visit is to provide the patient with a comfortable environment that focuses on their safety, supports the surgeon with the newest equipment, experienced staff, and results in a successful surgical outcome. Patients appreciate being able to recover in the comfort of their own homes surrounded by family and friends.
Sterile Processing Tech at Tampa Bay Joint and Spine Surgery Center
The Sterile Processing Technician maintains and cares for all surgical instruments. Prepares supplies and instruments for surgery cases.
Qualifications
- · High School Diploma or Equivalent
- · Minimum of 1-2 years of Sterile Processing experience
- · Completion of a Sterile Process Certification program is preferred
- · Experience with all types of sterilizers
- · Knowledge of operating room instrumentation and procedures
- · Familiarity with medical terminology and departmental supply items
- · Ability to quickly adapt to changing conditions of the patient when needed
